Aisling Blake is Operations Director in Interactive Return, with responsibility for the service delivery of all client Search Marketing campaigns. Having previously managed both the online and offline marketing activities for a technology company, Aisling moved to specialise in the digital arena. With key experience in the North American and European markets, Aisling and her team deliver innovative and cutting-edge Search Marketing campaigns for a broad spectrum of clients.
Aisling has an honors degree from University College Dublin in International Commerce and French, an honors Masters in Marketing Practice from Smurfit Business School and an Advanced Diploma in Management Practice with the University of Ulster. Stephanie Courtney-MindShare
Stephanie is an award winning website copywriter with over 6 years experience as a Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) Specialist and content copy writer. Stephanie has written and optimised over 100 websites across the United States and in Europe. In the States, Stephanie specialized in writing for the medical and health care industry, including medical device manufacturers, laser manufacturers, and for plastic, cosmetic and cardiothoracic surgeons. She has written extensively about SEO and content copy writing in white papers and has been published in industry magazines both on and off line.
After moving to Ireland in 2007, Stephanie began her own consultancy for online marketing focusing her work on international travel and the hotel industry. She has since joined MindShare and has expanded her online marketing expertise to include pay-per-click (PPC) search marketing. Stephanie successfully manages search marketing campaigns for the largest internet provider in Ireland, as well as managing campaigns for the travel and banking industry, and many FMCG accounts.
Stephanie is a California native where she spent much of her life working with writers in the entertainment industry. She has an MFA in Theatrical Directing from Trinity Repertory Conservatory in Providence, Rhode Island, where she worked with many of the best playwrights of the American stage.

Ciaran Delaney-Managing Director, Proactiv Marketing
Ciaran Delaneyhas over 12 years tourism marketing experience in Ireland and throughout Europe. He began his career as the Bord Failte Manager in Norway, following two years based in Oslo he moved to Milan as Tourism Ireland Manager for Italy, Malta, Cyprus and Greece. For four years he managed the Tourism Ireland marketing activities in these markets with an annual budget of over 1 million euro and a team of four. He returned to Dublin as Internet Manager to develop the range of Discoverireland.com websites.
He then joined Citywest Hotel as Director of Marketing, during his time at Citywest he was promoted twice to cover the PGA National Ireland and Weston Airport. Nearly 3 years ago, he then set up his consultancy Proactiv Marketing, clients include the Irish Hotel Federation, Dublin Convention Bureau and Druids Glen Golf Resort. Over a year ago he founded www.meetingsbooker.com which is now Ireland's largest website promoting meeting room hire.

Aodhan Cullen-CEO, Stat Counter
Aodhan Cullen is the CEO of StatCounter, a Dublin-based web statistics company which he founded at the age of 16. In 2008 the company surpassed two million members globally. StatCounter currently monitors three million websites and tracks over 10 billion pageloads per month. Cullen is the 2008 Eircom Golden Spider Internet Hero and the 2007 Businessweek Young European Entrepreneur of the Year.

Lisa Ditlefsen-Director, Verve Search
Lisa Ditlefsen has eight years' experience in Marketing of which 4 in Search. Lisa founded Verve Search in 2009, offering SEO, PPC and Online PR Consulting. . Lisa is heavily involved with the global SEO community and founded the blog SEO-Chicks in June 2007. Lisa also blogs for the European Search Blog; Search Cowboys

Nick Drew-Performance Media Research Manager, Microsoft Advertising
Nick Drew joined Microsoft in 2007 as the research manager for search in EMEA, co-ordinating and implementing research and analysis relevant both to adCenter and the search industry as a whole. Nick later expanded his remit to also cover Microsoft’s direct response and email marketing offerings. As part of this role, Nick designs, manages and implements adhoc research projects and analyses of new and existing data, and perhaps more importantly, interprets the data and translates it into useful and actionable conclusions. These studies encompass pieces around Microsoft Advertising’s own portfolio, but also broader ideas relevant to the industry as a whole, such as the importance of combining different online advertising formats.
Nick has presented this work at several conferences and trade shows, and has written articles for WARC and the IAB.
Nick began his research career at TaylorNelsonSofres (now TNS), starting in social research before moving to the media research team. There he managed numerous studies including the industry currency mediaSPAN survey. He later moved to the Financial Times, where as part of the global research team, he was responsible for studies in both the product development and sales support areas, using the gamut of research tools in both qual and quant research.

Richard Delevan is Managing Director of McConnells Digital
Richard advised Fortune 1000 companies, political campaigns, NGOs and governments on communications strategy in Chicago, New York and London before moving to Dublin in 2000, where he headed the technology practice of a PR firm before turning to a life of crime in journalism. He became a widely published journalist and broadcaster; as business editor of the Sunday Tribune he drove coverage of how technology was revolutionizing marketing, media and business. He joined McConnells in September 2008.
Fiona Gallagher -Business Director, Mindshare
Fiona has over nine years experience in digital media and marketing. Prior to joining Mindshare in 2001, she previously worked as business development manager for an antique auction internet start-up in London and an e-commerce recruitment company in Dublin. At Mindshare she was responsible for the development of the agency's digital media department and has worked with its clients to help them understand and exploit the emerging communication opportunities that this channel offers. Ian Howie started working in SEO and PPC in 1995, turning professional in 2002 and specializing in PPC since 2003. Ian has been Google’s guest in Mountain View, San Francisco and Dublin and Microsoft’s in the UK and Dublin.

Anders Hjorth-Chief Executive Officer, Outrider
Anders Hjorth specialises in the online economy and is a frequent speaker on international conferences on Search Marketing. He joined Outrider in 2009 as the Chief Executive for Europe. He was one of the founders of Relevant Traffic, a leading European Search Marketing Agency which he helped expand to cover most of Europe from 2004 to 2008. Arabella Judd is the Digital Account Director in Captivate Digital. Eoin Kennedy is an Associate Director with Slattery Communications focusing on corporate and online public relations through its Engage Online offering. Eoin has over 15 years experience delivering communications programmes for a range of Irish and International organizations. Prior to joining Marin Software, Brian spent nearly 5 years at Performics, most recently as Senior Director responsible for the provision of paid and natural search marketing services to clients in Europe and Asia.
He has been active online for over 15 years and has acquired a wealth of experience in the fields of web development, e-commerce, comparison shopping, paid and natural search marketing, social media and affiliate marketing. Peter McPartlin has worked with some of Ireland’s best-known agencies, including Irish International IIBBDO. He joined Carat in June 2006, Ireland’s largest media agency with annual billings in excess of €120m, as the agency’s Strategic Communications Director. He has also worked independently as a consultant to brand marketers and media owners.
His experience on top brands includes Vodafone, Guinness, Sony BMG, Baileys, Aer Lingus, Independent News & Media, HMV, Buena Vista/Disney and Tesco.

Ciaran Norris-Head of Response Team, Altogether Digital
Ciaran has been working online since taking a job in a Sydney internet cafe in 1999. He's worked in digital marketing since 2000; firstly at two of the UK’s biggest business publishers, Centaur Media & Reed Business Information, covering everything from online PR to subscriptions.
He joined integrated online marketing agency Altogether Digital in April 2007 and currently heads up the Response team covering search, affiliate & social media. Michelle O'Keeffe-Managing Director, Travel Affiliate
Michelle O'Keeffe is an expert in digital marketing for the travel and tourism sector. Her passion in digital marketing was sparked whilst working with ebookers as Marketing Manager. During her time at ebookers she travelled to Madrid, Geneva, London and Delhi learning best practices in online marketing. Michelle’s contribution at ebookers was recognised through the Golden Spider Awards as Best Travel & Tourism Web site with her direction.
With extensive digital marketing experience, Michelle was approached by companies seeking direction in their digital strategy. As a result she established Netmarketing (www.netmarketing.ie), a digital marketing consultancy. Her clients included Sunway Travel, Holidaysonline and Babytravelshop.
In June 2007 Michelle was appointed Executive Director of the Visit USA Committee in Ireland. Until she resigned that post to concentrate on Travel Affiliate, Michelle was responsible for the trade relations between operators, airlines and Convention & Visitors Bureau. Michelle was the face of the Visit USA Committee for international events such as PowWow, World Travel Market and more. Fiona Conway-Account Manager at Diffiniti Ireland
Fiona Conway is an Account Manager at Diffiniti Ireland, part of Aegis Media’s international digital network Isobar. Since acquiring an MBS in Electronic Commerce (NUI, Galway) in 2000, Fiona has been working in the digital space. Prior to joining Diffiniti Ireland, she has held senior digital roles at Profero, Sydney and BlueCube Interactive.
During this time she has worked on leading brands such as Apple, Singapore Airlines, Eircom, BUPA Ireland, Toyota and McDonalds. Currently, she manages and implements digital strategy for a variety of client such as Vodafone, Perlico and Beiersdorf.
One of Fiona’s key roles is to work with different teams to develop online media strategy ensuring integration across all media. Part of this role entails analysising the impact that all media including online, press, radio and tv have on search. It’s an area that offers huge potential and is not being addressed in the Irish market.

Eoin O'Carroll-Analytics Specialist, Google
Eoin O'Carroll joined the Google team in June 2005 as an AdWords account manager, troubleshooting customer issues and advising them optimisational changes to their account. After working part time on several Google Analytics project, Eoin then decided in May 2007 to pursue a career as a full time Analytics Specialist and transitioned his role to that of his current role within Google.

Niamh Phelan-Analytics Consultant with iQ Content.
Niamh is the primary Web Analytics consultant with iQ Content, the leading usability, accessibility and content consultancy dedicated to creating better websites for everyone.
Niamh came to IQ Content from Hibernian Insurance, where she developed her expertise in combining business intelligence with web analytics to drive changes on websites. Her role as an analyst in iQ Content focuses primarily on web analytics, allowing her combine her Business Intelligence and E-commerce interests.
In 2007, Niamh achieved First Class Honours in the Management Science Masters (MMgtSc.) in the Michael Smurfit Business School, UCD. Her dissertation, entitled "The application of Decision Science techniques to E-commerce Optimisation", was awarded the Perry Prize for most innovative dissertation proposal in 2007. The completed research was also awarded the Perry Prize for best dissertation in Management Science. Niamh also holds a BSc. (Hons.) in Computer Science from UCD.

Rob is the Head of Search and Social Media at Cybercom, Ireland’s largest and leading full-service digital Agency. His experience spans a wide and diverse range of industries, with Clients including RBS, Vodafone, Diageo, Unilever, Coca Cola, Hearst Digital, The Open University, Jurys Inns and Guinness Storehouse.
Rob and his team won ‘Best Search Marketing Campaign’ at the Digital Media Awards this year and were nominated as one of the top four search campaigns in the UK last year.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Business Studies degree from NUI Galway, both specialising in marketing. During his blissful student years, Rob conducted the first Irish academic research of e-services and the development of a new online brand equity model.
Damian Ryan-Partner Ireland, Head of Digital, Results International Ireland
Damian Ryan has over twenty years experience in the media and marketing industry and has specialised in the digital media space since the early 90s.
Originally from a magazine publishing background, Damian cut his teeth in the UK market with organisations such as EMAP and Havas before returning to Ireland in 1992 to establish his own magazine publishing business. Throughout his career he has launched over 50 magazine titles most of which centred around the financial services and communications sectors.
Having received a national award for his first website in 1994, Damian went on to launch DOT IE magazine in 1996, The Golden Spider Awards in 1997 and subsequently, sold his publishing and events business to fund the launch of ICAN in 1998 – now Ireland’s most successful online advertising agency.
Damian managed the sale of ICAN to the Communicorp Group in 2000 before embarking on a series of media ventures which saw him manage a host of other trade sales as well as launches in the media space. Throughout this time he was appointed as a consultant to the Irish government, Nokia, ABCe and many other stakeholders in the digital media sector. His most recent venture was the global launch of an online video games portal on behalf of Groove Media Inc in 2007. He is a former board member of the IAB in Europe, the UK and Ireland and a former board member of the Irish Direct Marketing Association.
Damian is a qualified journalist and is currently writing a text book on digital marketing. He is also a keen musician, enjoys playing golf and hanging out with his twin daughters.
